Welcome to Memorial Baptist Church in Pulaski, Virginia! We are a Southern Baptist church, in a southern setting where the strains of bluegrass music, the aroma of pulled pork barbeque and the gobbling sound of the Virginia Tech ‘Hokie Bird’ are familiar to locals. Our summers are warm, the winters are cold, but the spring and fall seasons are breathtakingly beautiful. Truly, we are blessed to serve God in such a spectacular setting.

We designed this website with you in mind. We invite you to explore the several pages of our website, to ask questions about us and, if you so desire, to share the burdens of your heart with us thus enabling us to pray specifically for you and the needs you share. Our goal is to give you an opportunity to learn about us, who we are, what we do and why we do it.

Of course, only so much may be gained by looking at photographs and reading announcements. As much as we appreciate your visit with us on the web, we hope you will take the time to visit with us in person. Most of our members are native to our part of Virginia, but we do have others who hail from as far north as Minnesota and as from far south as Florida. So you’ll likely fit in no matter where you’re from. We have no official dress code because we’d rather that you be comfortable more than that you be fashionable.

The people who are Memorial Baptist Church are striving to function as the people of God in this community. We want to be living testimonies to the love and grace of God. We pray for the courage and the strength to follow Jesus Christ as our Lord in all we do. I suppose that makes us pilgrims, so if you’d like to be a pilgrim alongside of us, we welcome you to come and see for yourself what we’re all about and join us as we walk together along the paths where God is leading us,
